About Cath Brinkley

Counsellor

As a practitioner focussing on anxiety and post-traumatic stress, Cath works with veterans, emergency services personnel, and corrections staff dealing with PTS and challenges as a result of their service. She also works with teenagers and young adults managing stress and anxiety around school, exams and assessments. Using a range of somatic and therapeutic techniques Cath works in a trauma informed and person-centred way to address issues raised by clients and help them achieve their goals. Working online and face to face means that Cath can reach a range of clients across the locally and nationally. Cath has counselling qualifications from the Torrens University (Masters) and the University of Canberra (Graduate Certificate).

Cath is the busy mum of four active, challenging, spectacular, and adored teenagers, is a self-confessed coffee addict, and likes to read. Cath admits to being more of a cat person than a dog person and a city kid more than a country kid. She is also most definitely not a morning person!
